Exchange class was held with Japanese high school and University student at Nagano school.

On July 21st, high school student came to MANABI and talked to MANABI students about their “high school life” and “youth language”.






On August 19th, Student of Shinshu University visited MANABI and talked about their home country and also enjoyed playing game with Japanese university students

Showa Kinen Park is very large park and it takes about an hour to walk from one side　to the other.
In spite of scorching heat, everybody was full of energy and enjoyed the party.

We joined “ Ueda Gion Festival” on July 24th.
Everybody enjoyed carrying a mikoshi or portable shrine and had a good time with
local people.







On July 31st, student joined “Ueda Wasshoi”
“Ueda wasshoi” is a festival which you dance with the music and walk through the town and more than 80 students joined the festival.
Group of MANABI student was sticking out because there are many students from different countries.

At Nagano school there summer program held for a month which students can learn Japanese and also experience Japanese culture.
41 students from Russia, Korea and Singapore joined the program.
Student joined activities such as tea ceremony, making buckwheat noodle, trip to hot spring, visiting business enterprise, visiting temple, staying at Japanese style hotel and joining summer festival and enjoyed the program very much by experiencing Japanese culture.
On the last, students and teachers was hugging regretting the parting. We are looking forward to meeting you again in the future.

On June 29th graduates of Nagano school Ms.Shin Ja Eun from Korea came to Nagano school.
Ms.Shin studied at Nagano school for 3 months from September 2005 as a internship program. After graduating from junior college she came to Japan with working holiday visa again and worked part-time at a restaurant. She once went back to Korea but came back to Japan to realize her dream of working in Japan.
She is working at Korean restaurant in Shinjuku from this February.
She said “It is very busy everyday but it is very enjoyable to see the customer being satisfied by our dish and also talk about Korean cuisine culture to customer in Japanese.
