September 1, Disaster Prevention Day

We had a disaster drill lesson in class. Students studied on video and then took a quiz to make sure they understood the drill. Most of the students told us that they had had disaster drills in their home countries. The students also understood the points to be considered when evacuating. At the end of the drill, we practiced hiding under a desk. The desk was smaller than expected, so it seemed to be difficult for them to put their bodies under it. Please remember what you learned in today's class so that you will be able to protect yourselves even a little when you face a disaster in Japan.
