In response to the spread of the new coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-19) infection, the Japanese government declared a state of emergency to seven prefectures, including Tokyo and Osaka, on April 8th. The declaration has not been issued in Ueda, Nagano Prefecture, where the Nagano campus is located, and people can live as usual while being careful about infection. However, one infected person has now been announced in Ueda City, and schools in Ueda-city will be closed until April 24th.
Under these circumstances, we have decided to start online classes for students attending Nagano to achieve our goal of studying in Japan, while ensuring the safety of our students. We will work to ensure that we can steadily advance to a higher level of goals such as universities and vocational schools. Also, please be assured that we will provide support while keeping track of the health of students in their daily lives.
