Graduate School Prep. Program

Graduate schools are for those who want to investigate and research further in specialized fields they studied during their undergraduate period. In order to pass the examinations, in some cases the applicants in required to contact a professor and submit his/her research proposal to get the enrollment approval. It is also a strategic way to enroll as a foreign research student before becoming a formal graduate student. MANABI supports our students from the selection of their graduate school, preparation of research proposal to the examination, and help them achieve their goals.

“Qualifications”
  • JLPT N” level or higher Japanese proficiency come April. (The start of the Japanese academic year)
  • Graduated from a 4-year or 3-year university.
  • Have a distinct research topic in mind.
  • It is also possible to enter another level of class at the time of admission then enter this class from the following April.

Top Universities

Top Universities Prep. Program

Although the admission examinations varies among the approximately 800 universities in Japan, most universities take the result of the Examination for Japanese University Admission (EJU) as their enrollment criteria.

In order to enter the national an public universities, which includes the so called top universities, you are not only required to get a high score in the EJU in both Japanese as a foreign language and the basic subjects (mathematics, science, Japan and the world), but you are also expected to perform will in the universities own English examination and the TOEIC test. MANABI provides courses of the basic subjects and English subject that can enhance your exam grades!

Attend the orientation at MANABI one year before your formal application. Choose some schools as your tentative goal. Then find out their enrollment qualification, and design your future plan of study at MANABI. This is the program that allows you to study Japanese as well as drawings and fine arts skill in order to enter the fine arts schools in Japan.
